Kickoff + summary of work
Not every project requires a kickoff call, but if we have a new client and/or we or our client feels one is necessary, one will be scheduled. Kickoff calls are a good way for both teams to get acquainted, to clarify timelines, quotas, and any complicated logic or tricky spots in the survey. It's usually not necessary to talk through each question in the questionnaire during the kickoff.
For each project, our client service project managers prepare a Summary of Work statement that itemizes all the parameters of the engagement, including deliverables, deadlines, quotas, broadcast requirements, and reporting requirements. The Summary of Work helps us and our clients ensure we're all working with a shared understanding of what each project needs to be a success.
Once we receive final materials and authorization to begin, we start programming the study. A purchase order or equivalent is needed in order to begin.
