Software Tools Engineer

BayaSoft, a privately held and self-funded software startup in Leominster, MA, seeks a software engineering candidate with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Candidates with 2+ years of experience are encouraged to apply.

BayaSoft provides custom online data collection to the market research industry, using proprietary software. This position will create and extend web and desktop based survey tools used to build and report on complex online survey instruments. This position engages in the full software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, designing, developing, and testing. As a rapid-growth startup, BayaSoft offers engineers significant advancement potential through the development team’s structure.

BayaSoft seeks highly motivated candidates who are able to work independently and commit to aggressive deadlines. We expect a minimum 50-60 hours per week from engineers eager to apply or prove and expand their skill set. Employees who work well with our high-performing team are rapidly promoted and rewarded.

The ideal candidate will have experience designing and developing applications utilizing C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, and AJAX. Proficiency in SQL is required. Knowledge of SQL Server Reporting services is a plus. Candidates will be tested for SQL aptitude, coding speed, coding accuracy, and abstract reasoning skills.

Superlative spoken and written communication skills are essential; applicants must possess full fluency in both written and spoken English. Candidates must demonstrate eligibility for employment in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship.

Survey Programmer

Seeking a candidate with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent, and 1-2 years experience (or relevant internship/co-op work experience). 

The ideal candidate will have professional and/or classroom experience designing and developing applications in MS Access, .NET, C#, and SQL.
